Welcome to the official website of Syston Town Juniors Football Club, here you will find history of the club as well as details on different teams, fixtures and result tables.
Syston Town Juniors FC was founded in 1969 and since then thousands of children have enjoyed their time at the club. We are proud to be affiliated to the LEICESTERSHIRE & RUTLAND FA and proudly sponsor the RESPECT campaign.
We have various established teams to accommodate kids of different age groups. At present children from the age of 6 to 15 are registered with the club. We are going from strength to strength and are one of the largest clubs in the area, and recently we have introduced girl’s football to the club.
We are a very competitive club, but most importantly all our children are encouraged to have fun and enjoy themselves on the pitch, whatever their ability. The club is run on a totally voluntary basis with our main funding coming from the annual registration fees (SUBS) paid by club members. Therefore we highly encourage our parents and relatives to help out with the daily running of the club.
Depending on their age group our teams play in different leagues. Children’s under the age of 7 to 10 take part in the LEICESTER & DISTRICT MUTUAL LEAGUE and children’s above the age of 10 take part in the LEICESTERSHIRE FOXES SUNDAY LEAGUE. And our girl teams are registered under the LEICESTER CITY AND COUNTY GIRLS FOOTBALL LEAGUE.
The club has also achieved the FA Chartered Club Status; all Managers/Coaches are CRB Checked and hold minimum FA Level 1 qualification. Some Coaches also hold FA Level 2/3/UEFA-B qualifications and some coaches also hold FA Youth Module 1 and Level 2 Goalkeeping qualifications.
